Spring with STV-German Language School at The Maifest!

The STV-German Language School is excited to host their annual fund-raising event, The Maifest.

The Maifest is a family-friendly event where you can dance, sing, craft, play, eat, and drink-in the Spring spirit. Maifest is a traditional festival, which celebrates the arrival of spring, and nature’s bright reawakening after winter’s cold and darkness.

German food and drinks will be available for sale, as well as Kaffee und Kuchen (coffee and cake) and specialties like Spätzle, Maibowle, and Spaghetti Ice Cream. The Maifest’s headliner will be the Alpentänzer Schuhplattler (German Dance Troupe) who will perform traditional dances around the maypole, accompanied by a live band. In the afternoon, there will be free organized games and crafts for the kids, a clown show, and face-painting. It will be fun for the whole family!

Proceeds from the event support the STV-German Language School, whose purpose is to promote German language, literature and culture.
