Homeowners and gardeners in lovely Curtis Park are getting ready to present a Spring home and garden tour. The event is presented by the Sierra Curtis Neighborhood Association with proceeds benefitting the Sierra 2 Center for the Arts and Community and neighborhood programs.

Throughout the day people from the greater Sacramento area will enjoy strolls under leafy canopies while viewing five homes constructed between 1910 and 1940 including Streamline Moderne, Mediterranean, and Craftsman styles. Interiors range from classic to contemporary. Featured gardens include entertaining spaces, English cottage designs and drought tolerant landscapes.

Attendees should check in at Curtis Park (north end of William Curtis Park at 26th Street and Donner Way) to receive their programs. The program is their ticket to enter the homes.

Several activities are scheduled throughout the event at the north end of Curtis Park including acoustic music by Midtown Jazz, vendors, coffee and food for sale. Information displays, picnic tables and chairs will be provided as well as restroom and hand washing facilities.
