West Sac Rhythm on the River: Eighties Night!

Everyone is welcome to this all-ages and family-friendly concert event. There will be free children's activities in the Family Fun Zone. Food and beverage will be available from Drake's and food trucks at the venue. Plan to bring blankets and folding chairs to enjoy the show comfortably on the grass area.

Outside food and beverages are not permitted at this event.
Limited parking is available on the street and in parking lots, both require a fee. Residents are encouraged to utilize rideshare, West Sac VIA, or bike to the events.

Closing the show is Heavy Petty, who was spawned out of the Sacramento area in 2018 with the inspiration of spreading the joy and paying tribute to the king of rhythmical storytelling from the one and only Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers. This unique and genuine show that Heavy Petty provides pays tribute to the true and honest symphonic sounds of Tom Petty. The show is a genuine fresh reminder of what this true artistic legend shared with the whole world

Starting the party will be Diva Rox, a five piece powerhouse cover band ready to engage their audience with a blend of upbeat, classic cover hits from the 1970s up to today's current hits. Lead voaclists, Melissa Nunley is a powerhouse singer with an unbelievable ability to pull off the likes of Pat Benatar, Madonna, Prince, and more. Get ready to rock with Diva Rox!

Special Guest - Intermission Performance
Callery Pear is a Sacramento based indie rock 4-piece that met while attending Sacramento City College. Performing in the Commercial Music Ensemble together, the group honed their skills performing a wide variety of covers. After which, Johnny Duenas/Rat Row (Lead Vocals, Guitar), Kathryn Taytroe (Lead guitar, vocals), Jeromy Stilwell/JJ Woods (Bass), and Mike Spagnolo (Drums) began performing around the local Sacramento music scene under the name Callery Pear. Their sound is best described as modern indie rock, with influences including 90’s and 2000’s pop rock and singer/songwriter folk.
