ARTHOUSE is pleased to present “The Art of Friendship” – two and three dimensional creations by longstanding artist group Mud Mavens - at ARTHOUSE Gallery in Sacramento’s premier art destination.

“The Art of Friendship” features primarily sculptural ceramics, enhanced with two-dimensional mixed media wall art. Representing a commingling of personality styles, life experiences and skills, they are individual pieces from a collective of artists that has been in existence for 14 years.

Mud Mavens artists come together every other week to create, inspire each other, talk about the travails of life and engage in an amazing amount of laughter. Over the course of 14 years together, they have shared illnesses, deaths, retirements from professional lives, significant events in their lives and the welcoming of new members. ”The Art of Friendship” is a manifestation of each member of the group as a snapshot of where they are now in the process of moving forward.
