Get ready for a very special edition of Sacramento Juneteenth Inc as they celebrate their 20th anniversary!

Check off the event with Gospel Under the Stars, a concert with Sacramento’s best Gospel artists.

At the Festival, check out the Juneteenth Mile and Parade – A one-mile run/walk event in partnership with Black Men Run, a main stage entertainment with 10 local bands including R&B, Neo Soul, Jazz, Blues and more, The Juneteenth youth essay reading presentation, Juneteenth Community Soldier Awards, Juneteenth Golf Tournament, shop from local vendors, and check out the kids zone with face painting, interactive games, art activities, and more.

There will also be a health/wellness pavilion with on-site health screenings, healthy soul food cooking demonstrations,   physical activities such as line dancing and Zumba, and distribution of health-related resources.

Looking for some art? A live painting exhibition by several local artist in partnership with the Crocker Art Museum will be on-sit4e. Other components include Black history presentations on the hour – Presented by local historians, Local African-American comic book illustrators interactive sessions, and Presentations acknowledging the accomplishments of African-Americans pre and post Emancipation.
