American Lung Association's Lung Force Walk

American Lung Association's Lung Force Walk

Presented by American Lung Association of California at California State Capitol - West Steps

The American Lung Association's Lung Force Walk is like no other charity walk. With an inspiring signature song and music, the puclic can celebrate the collective power of our breath. Voices will soar as  friends, neighbors and colleagues raise their voices against lung cancer -- and for lung health for everyone.

Participants will also raise funds for research, advocacy, education and awareness. The more raised, the faster scientists can develop early detection methods and protocols to save lives. Through the Lung Force Walk, American Lung Association in California hopes to raise $15 million over the next five years for lung cancer research; increase awareness of early detection tools such as CT screening; provide patients with information about clinical trials and biomarker testing; and advocate for increasing federal funding for lung cancer research.
