The semi annual Sacramento Fine Arts Center, Second Hand Art Supply Sale, that you know and love, is back.

It is time, to start gathering, all those unwanted tubes of watercolors and oils, those worn, old, handed down palettes, or all the stacks of used brushes. Studio supplies, that are no longer needed, that may include, various sizes of watercolor and art specialty papers, panels for oil paint, plein air painting gear, sketching tablets, books, pastels, inks, silk screen materials and much more, will be treasures.

Last year, frames, art books, easels, brushes a paper making kit, ceramic tools, and various paints, were some of the items, that quickly sold.

Please Note: This event is not for the sale of original or handmade artwork, and none will be sold.

Here are 4 ways to take part, with the sale.

1. Sell your art related goods. Sign up for a rental table. This will be on a first served basis. Table rentals are final and non-refundable. If you are unable to attend the sale, for any reason, the cost of the rental, will be donated to the Sac. Fine Arts Center.

2. Donate your art goods. To donate the art supplies and materials, please contact us at sfac2@sacfinearts.org, or call 916-971-3713. Your donation is tax deductible. All proceeds from donated items, sold at the Sac Arts Secondhand sale, will directly support the programs and future projects.

3. Volunteer to help. Please call to schedule a few hours or all day, to help out on the sale. Some light snacks will be provided. There will be no heavy lifting involved.

4. Shop for the art supplies and materials. The public is welcome!
