The Rancho Cordova River City Concert Band will take you musical journey through the cosmos - a “Space Journey” - at The Cordova Performing Arts Center, Rancho Cordova.

The concert will feature the world premiere of composer Rossano Galante’s Solar Wind, commissioned through the generosity of the Rancho Cordova community through the use of Community Enhancement Funds. Mr. Galante will be present at the concert and conduct the band on his piece. Mr. Galante has over 50 published compositions and served as orchestrator for over seventy-five studio films. Under the direction of Tom Seaton, the band will also perform Gustav Holst’s Jupiter, Music From Apollo 13, a Symphonic Suite from Star Trek, Julie Giroux’s Journey Through Orion, Brian Balmages’ To Dance Among The Stars, John Williams’ Star Wars – The Marches, and the band’s own Scott Hosner’s composition, Intergalactic Space Tours.  Fantastic visual effects will accompany the music.
