HEARTWATCH (formerly The Tropics)  is no stranger to the Bay Area scene. 

In late 2014 the group released their inaugural EP, Wind House, which received national acclaim. Their recorded music coupled with their critically adored live shows, has cemented the group as one of San Francisco's most promising new acts. 

The band stayed busy in 2015 performing at Noise Pop, Phono Del Sol Music Festival, and Outside Lands Music Festival, supporting MS MR on West Coast dates, and recording their new record.

HEARTWATCH will continue the momentum in 2016, releasing their self-titled mini-album, headlining the The Independent for their record release party as part of Noise Pop 2016, touring in support of the record with Seattle band, The Flavr Blue, and playing at BottleRock Napa 2016.
