Ranell Carpenter is a singer and songwriter from the Sierra foothills, a rising talent with smoldering vocals and roots in soul, blues, and country. Her love of singing evolved when she was 17 years old, though she had written lyrics and poetry her whole life.

After the loss of her father in 2010, Ranell dove head first into singing and landed herself the position as lead singer for the Ice House Blues Band. The band played in and around the foothills area for several years as Ranell built a fan base and explored the blues genre. Her love of the blues deepened but she never forgot her country roots. 

Ranell  performs with many experienced and talented musicians from in and around the Sacramento area. Exploring the many avenues of music, she focuses her writing in the direction of country and blues. Ranell gives a dazzling performance, pouring her heart and soul in to every show.
