Sacramento State University’s Japan Club will be hosting its annual Japan Day Festiva. Featured performers include Koyasan Taiko Group, several Martial Arts groups (Aikido, Judo, Jiu Jitsu). Japan Day is a family-friendly festival, celebrating Japan and Japanese culture in a local setting.

The event features games, activities, and booths for all ages, including “cake walk,” “gold fishing,” and mask making. There will also be a cosplay contest, shouting contest, and a fashion show. A special exhibit entitled The Noh Masks of Bidou Yamaguchi is on display in the university library gallery. 

Note: Japan Day is co-sponsored by the California State University Sacramento College of Arts and Letters, Associated Students Inc., the CSUS Japan Club, the CSUS Japanese Program, and department of World Languages and Literatures. This event will take place in the library quad.
