The Sacramento Jazz Cooperative, Inc. commonly known as SJC or Sacramento Jazz Coop (pronounced Co-op) is a nonprofit created on September 26, 2016. Its mission is to preserve mainstream, classic jazz as an American art form. Since its inception, SJC has presented 70 shows with 18 upcoming performances showcasing the best in local and touring classic jazz performers. Governed by a board of directors, SJC holds its performances at various Sacramento venues.
