Stitches ‘n Dishes is the creation of Chris Ford and Andrew Nicora, and it’s inspired by a pet dog, Stitch, an American Staff. Terrier mix/Bichon Frise, born October 24, 2010. Stitches ‘n Dishes is passionate about food, fun, photography, and film. They also love the outdoors–hiking the city streets, the fairgrounds, or the beautiful trails all around California. Andrew grew up in the catering and concessions industries, doing everything from bussing tables, serving, cooking, back-stage hosting, to you name it, and Chris has worked as an event promoter, event planner/host, and photographer. Between Chris’ passion for photography, Andrew’s passion for film, and their combined passion for being outdoors and having fun, they became instant friends. It seemed to make sense to work together, so they combined talents and actually made work fun.

Like the stitches on a quilt, Stitches ‘n Dishes combines social networking, blogging, mobile media, press, print distribution, and video, creating a buzz and a following that brings people to their favorite dishes. They represent food vendors, branding their products, while promoting the venues where they serve. They support venues, including fairgrounds, festivals, and street fairs through social networking and promotions.

Stitches ‘n Dishes is a pioneer in the mobile food services industry, providing California’s only network of vendors, venues, and their fans, as well as news, schedules, reviews, high-quality photography, video and media coverage. They ’re following California’s best concessionaires, food trucks, caterers, and mail-order bakers and bringing it all together on their blog.

Follow Stitches ‘n Dishes on Facebook and Twitter to get the latest dish and deals on your favorite food vendors, and don’t forget to sign up for their newsletter, The Dish!
