Angels for Hearts is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt non-profit. They strive to bring normalcy to pediatric heart patients. Angels For Hearts was formed due to the Kaufman family’s own experience. Kimberly, the oldest of the Kaufman children, was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in 2004 and is not a canidate for a heart transplant.

Angels For Hearts was formed in 2008 when the family realized that they could not do anything to help their daughter, but they could help other families. They try to help pediatric heart patients remember that they are first and foremost a child before they are a heart patient.
