Indigenous Music Foundation was founded in October 2012 as a non-profit organization to give free music lessons, instruments, and internships to youth ages 13-19. By partnering with various businesses, houses of worship, and community groups this unique mentoring program utilizes professional music teachers and mentors and gives a hand-on approach to preparing students for real world experience. The goal of Indigenous is to create a pathway of sustainability and success for each of its students, whether or not they choose a full time career in the arts.

The mentors at Indigenous Arts & Media are successful independent artists and media professionals who are leading a movement to effect positive action and change. By welcoming, nurturing, and empowering new talent, Indigenous believes they are fostering the innovators of tomorrow. By encouraging & training students in marketing, event planning, recording, production, video, etc. Indigenous provides solutions for launching & marketing services & products into the local community.

Local partners include the Strum Shop in Roseville and the Sunrise Community Church.
