Sacramento Yacht Club (SYC) is founded with the principal goal of enhancing safe recreational boating in the Sacramento area. SYC is primarily a "Volunteer Club", meaning that member effort constitutes a large part of the maintenance and upgrade of our Club and memberships are "family" based.

The SYC is a member of PICYA, the Pacific Inter-Club Yacht Association which offers formal or informal reciprocal privileges to many other Yacht Clubs (both national and internation) with their own facilities. SYC is proud that we can offer such facilities to our guests, a tradition that has earned us the title "Your Upriver Host".
