Founded in 1994, Instituto Mazatlán Bellas Artes (IMBA) de Sacramento is a non-profit artistic venture. IMBA Center’s goal, through dance and music is to enrich, enlighten and educate the community which we serve.  We achieve this by teaching and presenting performing arts, namely dance and music. Instituto Mazatlán Bellas Artes de Sacramento (IMBA) strives to inform and educate all those willing to learn and experience the strengthening and healing power that arts adds to our everyday life.

IMBA serves as the home of Sacramento’s premier Folk Ballet of Sacramento, Ballet Folklorico de Sacramento (BFS), which yearly presents Folk Ballet productions throughout the state of California.
