Lilliput Children’s Services is a non-profit foster adoption agency in Sacramento. Founded in 1980, Lilliput Children’s Services’ mission is to ensure a child’s opportunity for permanence in a safe and nurturing family. Throughout California, Lilliput is striving to ensure that when children enter foster care they do not languish there, an all-to-often scenario for foster youth. Lilliput has several core services—all designed with the purpose of improving the lives of our state’s most vulnerable children by ensuring they are part of a safe, nurturing, and committed family.

With the goal of prevention and early intervention, Lilliput’s services include kinship services which help children remain within the safety net of extended family when they must be removed from their birth parents due to neglect, abuse, or abandonment. Additionally, when family is not available, Lilliput finds families who are able to care for the children for as long as needed, including adoption if reunification with family is not possible.
