Rio Americano High School (often referred to as "Rio") is a public high school in Sacramento, serving students in grades 9 through 12 as part of the San Juan Unified School District. Rio is a Blue Ribbon School that offers a rigorous academic progam. Highlights include: Civitas/AVID, multiple band programs, graphic & web design programs, radio/TV, a wide range of athletic options, 30+ Clubs, teachers that are dedicated to the students, dances, rallies, etc. There is always something happening at Rio.
