The Arts Commission office has limited public access, but occasionally hosts special events and workshops. If you'd like to drop by during office hours, please call an Arts Commission staff person to let them know you are coming so that you can be granted access. Meetings are held by appointment with staff.

The Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission, established in 1977, is a public agency devoted to supporting, promoting, and advancing the arts in the region. Funded by the City and County, the Arts Commission provides funding to local artists and arts groups; promotes the arts through marketing, outreach, and education initiatives; provides resources to support and increase regional arts education activities; and serves as a community partner and resource.
