The Pence Gallery, in the heart of Downtown Davis, is a not-for-profit art gallery. Its name derives from the original benefactors, Joe and Hazel Pence. The building, once the site of Joe Pence’s thriving dental practice, was gifted to the city of Davis by the couple to be used as a venue for the fine arts. A hallmark for the fine arts, the Pence Gallery has been a member of the Davis community for over thirty years. Fine art exhibitions throughout the year are partnered with art lectures, Art Smart programs, and tours.
