Sierra Health Foundation is a private philanthropy promoting improved health and quality of life for the people of Northern California. Since they began grant funding in 1985, they have awarded more than $75 million in cash grants and in-kind grants to approximately 1,000 nonprofit organizations. Their funding region includes 26 counties in the northeast part of the state, with specific geographic focus determined for each of the funding programs.
