The five-story, 261,000-square-foot City of Sacramento City Hall Building integrates new and historic structures into a single destination that accommodates 730 staff members. Close proximity of the buildings create an outdoor public living room, bounded by the curved façade on the north side and by the newly exposed and restored historic City Hall on the south side. 

The new building houses all of the City’s significant functions, including a new Council Chamber, as well as offices for the Mayor and City Council members.
