My organization is looking to host a Scottish bagpiping/dancing competition event in addition to several small events we host in different locations around the region. I’d like to get some feedback on the feasibility and costs for having a full-day event with bagpipe bands, Highland dancers and some solo competition events at the conference center or outside.. We are a non-profit group (City of Sacramento Pipe Band) and also are looking for space to have food or food truck(s) and one or more local breweries to participate. Does any of this sound feasible for further exploration?
Personally, I’m a retired Coast Guard/Arm Reservist and have live in this area go over 50 years and was once stationed at the Coast Guard Air Station at McClellan.
