Ardalan Gharachorloo, an Iranian born violinist, Corey Oiler, a cellist from Kansas City, and their string orchestra will feature original and new compositions blending the sounds of eastern and western music. The program will include a collection of Persian folk tunes, Tar concerto, fantasia for Persian percussion and string orchestra.The program will also feature Persian music guest artists.

Music Beyond Borders promotes cultural unity and transforms lives by creating a platform for social advocacy in a musical context. The organization serves the Sacramento community with accessible concerts as well as opportunities for people from all walks of life to actively participate in making music. It provides educational services to those in need to increase involvement in the musical arts.
