Sacramento County Animal Shelter

The Sacramento County Animal Shelter serves residents in the unincorporated area of Sacramento County. They do not serve the cities of Elk Grove, Folsom, Rancho Cordova, or Sacramento, as those communities provide their own animal services.

The Shelter offers the following services: animal adoptions, animal complaints, abuse and neglect investigations, animal impounds and quarantine, lost and found pets, low-cost rabies clinics, low-cost spay/neuter services, and pet licensing.
