Na Maka, LLC

Na Maka is a Polynesian dance school located in Roseville California. The haumana (students) are guided by two hula instructors, Janet Auwae-McCoy and Tanisha Reshke, who are committed to educating their students in dance, music, as well as history and language. Tanisha and Janet have danced for over 35 years and have had the pleasure of performing/competing in Hawai’i, Reno, Las Vegas, New Orleans, New York, and both Northern and Southern California. They have been taught by respected kumu hulas such as Joseph Kahaulelio, Patrick Makuakane, and others.

Classes are held in Roseville and West Sacramento which include dances from Hawai’i, Samoa, New Zealand, and Tahiti. All ages and skill levels welcome. Na Maka welcomes anyone who is interested in learning about the Hawaiian culture and sharing in the "Aloha Spirit". Friendly smiles and warm "aloha" await you. A Hui Hou!
