Arden Playhouse

Arden Playhouse was first established in 1998 when they took over the facility which was once JayRob Theater and later Stagedoor Comedy Playhouse. They continued the tradition of producing comedies and farces for three years, until the building was purchased by new owners and staying in business at that location became impossible. Now, Arden Playhouse is back in a brand new theatre! They continue their tradition of presenting the best in comedy, including some original plays, for your entertainment.

      Legends Arden Playhouse Legends Presented by Arden Playhouse at Arden Playhouse May 4-June 16, 2012 Legends by James Kirkwood, produced with permission of Samuel French, Inc. is a wonderful story. Theatrical producer Martin needs a couple of famous stars in order to get backing for his new show. He thinks he can get former movie legends Leatrice Monsée and Sylvia Glenn. Both need the work...for income and ego. They have agreed to meet at the apartment of a mutual friend who is out of town. Only problem is...they hate each other. Sparks start flying almost immediately....
