Now in its 42nd year, the Faire features traditional and modern Jewish cuisine, live entertainment, arts and crafts vendors, activities for all ages, and an opportunity for the entire community to come together for a delicious and unique experience.
Feast on traditional and modern favorites such as corned beef, pastrami and brisket sandwiches, lox and bagels, egg combos, blintzes, latkes, falafel, chopped liver, stuffed cabbage rolls, noodle kugel, chicken matzo ball and vegetarian mushroom barley soups, falafel, hummus, expanded vegetarian and gluten-free choices, hard to find specialty foods, and lots of noshes!
Breakfast and lunch items are served all day. The expanded chilled and frozen food section offers chopped liver, blintzes, pickles, noodle kugels, cabbage rolls, and corned beef and pastrami packs to take home. Shop the food faire bakery for delicious homemade and imported pastries and breads like rugelach, hamentashen, strudel, challah, Jewish corn rye, raisin pumpernickel bread, schnekken, babka, and more.
Explore the art and crafts vendor stalls surrounding the Faire for art, jewelry, home items, clothing, Judaica, pottery, special gifts, and unique items at reasonable prices.
Enjoy live music and special activities throughout the day – including CBS’ Rabbi Nancy Wechsler and the House Band and traditional and contemporary music. Youth can visit the children’s play area for storytelling, family activities, and children’s art projects.
Donate and help save lives at the Mobile Blood Source and meet the teams from community resources such as the Jewish Federation of the Sacramento Region, the Jewish Genealogical Society, and Shalom School.
