Temple Coffee's Free Public Tastings

Every Friday, Temple Coffee Roasters hosts a Free Public Coffee Tasting at one of their participating cafes. Lead by Training staff, Friday Public Tastings allow attendees to explore something fun and interesting in the world of specialty coffee.

8/2, Traditional Cupping at our Training Facility (2827 S St): Cupping is perhaps the most important skill a coffee professional can develop. Come to our training facility at 2827 S St in Midtown Sacramento to practice and improve your palate as we taste and talk about our newest coffee offerings.

8/9, Brewing Demo with a Chemex at 16th St (1615 16th St): Curious about that brewing device you keep hearing your friends talk about? Want to know how to use it? We’ll be brewing with a Chemex and talking about how to get the most out of your coffee. Learn the ins and outs of the Chemex at our newest location on 1615 16th St, right across from Fremont Park in Midtown Sacramento.

8/16, Bloom at 16th St (1615 16th St): We often hear Baristas talking about “the Bloom” when they are brewing coffee. What do we mean when we use this term and what is really happening when we “Bloom” our coffee? We’ll explore this concept and taste for ourselves how it changes the brew.
