Arttastes: Honey

Art and food enthusiasts alike will delight in the Crocker’s new culinary art series featuring a variety of food and wine tastings. Using art on view at the Crocker, this unique program will feature tastings with chefs, sommeliers and other specialists within the culinary arts.

First up in our new series, a sweet conversation about honey with Amina Harris, owner of Z Specialty Food, LLC and the Director of the Honey and Pollination Center at the Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science, UC Davis. Participants will view quintessential California landscapes, and the flora and fauna captured in art on view, before diving into a fascinating session on honey production and the nuances of varietal honey.
