Sierra Nevada started with a spark. Ken Grossman ditched the city whenever he could. Going off-grid, that’s where he found thrills and life’s answers. Climbing in the Sierra Nevada mountains, Ken’s bold idea took shape: build a brewery. Naming it would be easy.

They shook things up in the ’80s, and it helped launch a beer revolution that’s in full force today. They keep pushing boundaries, whether that’s in the brewhouse, with sustainability, or in the great outdoors.
