Summer officially begins Downtown on May 1 with the return of the Friday Night Concerts in the Park. This free 15-week concert series will rock Cesar Chavez Plaza every Friday night from 5 pm to 9 pm with the sounds of live, local music.
Even in its 18th season, the Concerts in the Park series remains true to its roots and continues to provide a free, all ages venue to showcase Sacramento’s local music scene. This season’s line up features a total of 51 local bands including 27 new acts to the park series. The bands reflect a broad spectrum of musical acts including blues, punk, country, rock, indie, soul, pop, reggae and hip hop. Here's the linup!

Weekly Concert Crawl (Post Concert Specials!!): Show your concert wristband and receive specials every Friday night at local bars and restaurants. Patrons can receive special happy hour deals on food and drinks tonight and every Friday throughout the season when they ask for the Concert Crawl Deal.
Participating businesses include: Brew It Up!, Fuzio Universal Bistro, Marilyn's on K, Parlare Lounge, Pyramid Alehouse, Sofia on 11th, Sheraton Grand - PMB Bar, Toppingz Pizza at Image Lounge, Table 260, 4th Street Grille, & Amourath Lounge at the Hyatt.
Produced by the DSP, the Concerts in the Park attract more than 60,000 fans during the 15-concert season. The event is presented by Budweiser and sponsored by Van Ruiten Vineyards, KCRA 3, My 58, Green Sol and MidtownGrid.com.
