Visit with gardening clubs and plant experts; get inspired to start your spring gardens. The Zoo has a significant plant collection and local organizations will educate visitors about gardening and plants.Plants serve a number of functions here at the Zoo. Some are used as cover or shelter and some, such as bamboo, acacia and mirror plants, are grown as browse (fresh treats) for the animals.
