Presented by the CCPOA, this three-day event from features six rib teams, an Interactive Kids Zone and live musical acts. Participants can enjoy the taste of ribs by Joshua’s Ribs, Smokehouse Specialties, West Sacramento Elk's Lodge, Addicted to Rub, River Cat Ribs, and My Brother's BBQ.

Attendees get to vote for the best BBQ through the People’s Choice Award. Tickets on sale now!

    This event was embarrassing for Sacramento. It was in the parking lot of Raley Field and you had to purchase tickets to redeem them for food and drinks which is a waste of money. Also, you have to pay $8 to park in the same parking lot that the event took place and then another $5 to get in! I would highly recommend not even wasting your time or money on this horrible event. If you can even call it that. Collapse

    Don't waste your time and money on this event. It is ridiculously overpriced and at best will only give you maybe an hour of diversion. A full rack is $20 with no sides and they charge $4 for a... Expand
    
    Don't waste your time and money on this event. It is ridiculously overpriced and at best will only give you maybe an hour of diversion. A full rack is $20 with no sides and they charge $4 for a bottled soda. The vendor tent is not even half full, and the one stage of music is nothing but tribute bands. They even charge $10 for kids to use the bounce house. All of it is set up not in beautiful Raley's stadium, but in a gravel parking lot across from it. The whole thing appears to be poorly thought out and with little respect for the people attending the event. I would never go again (unless I heard that they had seriously changed their ways) and will tell anyone I know not to bother. Collapse

    This event is nothing but money pit. Took my wife and 5 year old daughter. It wasn't even in raley field. It's in the gravel parking lot across the street. The kid zone was just 4 jump houses, and 5... Expand
    
    This event is nothing but money pit. Took my wife and 5 year old daughter. It wasn't even in raley field. It's in the gravel parking lot across the street. The kid zone was just 4 jump houses, and 5 bucks each for admission, they still charged you 10 bucks. For kids to use the jump house. Then u had to pay 10 bucks each for ribs, and not to mention beer. This event sucks. Not very comfortable to bring ur family to. I'm never going back. The entertainment is basically tribute bands and beer. Collapse
