Add Review/Comment
Did you know that lava can reach 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit? Or that there are 1,900 active volcanoes on Earth? Learn all about volcanoes and their impact on planet Earth this weekend at the Discovery Museum. Children can complete a make-and-take paper volcano craft to take home [don't worry, it won't melt your homes!].
Volcano demonstrations take place at 12:30pm and 2:30pm. Have a blast!!!! Enjoy the volcano area of the Gee Whiz Geology exhibit. Remember, ages four and older may participate in the 1pm and 3:00pm planetarium presentations; everyone is welcome to attend the wildlife presentations at noon and 2pm. All Activities included in general admission.
