Haute Romantics, curated by Paddy Johnson of Art Fag City, at Verge Gallery & Studio Project will be closing on Saturday, March 13- Join us for a last 2nd Saturday reception.

Haute Romantics seeks to examine a growing subsection of New York-based artists creating work that maps the ideals of late 18th century Romanticism. Untamed landscape, aesthetic beauty, escapism, youth - these themes not only permeate the exhibition, but build upon a period three hundred years past, in which emotion was seen as a crucial authentic source of aesthetic experience. While the geography and living conditions specific to New York may, at least in part, inform this renewed sensitivity, it clearly extends beyond the cities borders. Don't miss your last chance to check out this incredible exhibition.

March 13 will also be Verge Gallery & Studio Project's last day at our current location, 1900 V Street. We will be relocating to a larger space at 625 S Street. Due to the refiguring and construction of our new location, our galleries will be temporarily closed until the end of the year. We'll continue to update Verge fans and visitors with our progress, so keep in touch!
