  Please Buck Rogers enlighten me about these new 21st century practices that control animals without causing death. Maybe we should shoot them up with birth control... There are very few painless deaths in the real world. I would venture to say that some of the least painful and agonizing deaths come from a bullet. Would you rather take a bullet or have your guts eaten out of you while you're still alive until you die of shock? Both are very natural deaths (being as we are actually predators which is why your eyeballs face forward instead of being on the side of your head) but personally I'd rather die by bullet than be eaten alive and in nature LOTS of animals get eaten alive. Its brutal but its just the way it is... I'm also assuming that you have killed yourself by now so as to not continue to make a further impact on the environment. HYPOCRITE! Collapse

  It should be disturbing that Cal Expo hosts events that likely encourage illegal hunting and poaching. Also animals suffer from hunting no matter how hunting advocates try to argue in favor of their "sport", even claiming to be environmentalists. Consider that an animal (after being shot) often does not die instantly, but often left to suffer in horrific pain. For instance, the animal might escape with a bullet in them, only to then slowly suffer a painful death someplace where a human cannot treat it or put it humanely put it out of its misery. There are new 21st century methods that could be used to control animal populations instead of continuing dangerous and deadly hunting. Collapse
