Michael "LP Sessions" LaPlante loves music and performing. He has sung his whole life, performed in theatre and choir since he was little, as a solo guitarist and vocalist for 15 years, and as a pianist, drummer, and bassist about a decade. Some years back, a friend started calling him LP--he dug it and made it his stage name, added a fidora to show attire and found the aesthetic for his music.

In April 2010 after a year of hard work he released his third and best solo album Walk With Me. The music is fairly accesible to all ages, tastes, and persuasions with some innovations to stretch the listeners ears a bit. The experience is an amalgamation of alternative/rock style with pop song writing and polish that has been influenced by jazz, blues, funk, fusion, and a touch theatricality.
He also plays covers ranging from classics like Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, and the Beatles to contemporaries like Death Cab for Cutie, Minus the Bear, John Mayer, and many in between.
