    Join the Creative community in developing their Public Relations and Marketing skills through an intense workshop that is dedicated to the advancement of the Sacramento Arts Scene. This workshop includes a review of current material and packet of Market/PR templates to advance business immediately.

    Things to Learn:
    -Talking Points: Make every word and second count! Develop interpersonal communication skills to maximize every moment.
    -What’s your Marketing Material? Have a point-by-point instruction of what marketing material will fit your industry the best. Learn how to develop a high level marketing kit, and understand your marketing plan.
    -How to Develop a Customer Base. The clients you have are more important than ever. Learn to take care of the past, current, and future clients.
    -Socializing in Social Media. What are you doing to increase your social media?

    Things to Bring:
    -All marketing material to be reviewed
    -Business cards
    -Questions on business practices
    -Clear description of artistic styles

    Host:
    Veronica Delgado, Owner of Vera Icon PR. Veronica has be actively involved in the Arts and Culture of Sacramento for five years. In her involvement she has tailored her PR company to the needs and opportunities of Creative individuals.

    Guest Speakers:
    -Michelle Alexander, Executive Director of Arts and Business Council. Michelle brings the creative sector information on area resources from the regions best organizations.
    -Deborah Edward, Project Manager of Mayor Johnson’s For Art's Sake Initiative. Deborah will give the community a review of the goals of the For Art Sake Initiative, how to get involved and an overview of the national art climate.
    -Nick Miller, Writer for Sacramento News and Review. Nick is a writer for the SN&R, which focuses on the Music Scene, and will discuss best practices for Musicians.

    Who is invited? Any and all visual artists, photographers, sculptors, writers, musicians, gallery owners, art studio directors, art organizations.
