Mark Twain Postage Stamp Launch & Dedication

Attention history buffs, theatrical fans, and stamp enthusiasts, too! The United States Postal Service will launch a new Mark Twain postage stamp in Old Sacramento and the community is invited to watch the lively and fun festivities. With the historic Passenger Station as a fitting backdrop and amidst a spirited rehearsal for the theatrical “Time Travel Weekends” program, visitors will also have the opportunity to listen to Mark Twain “pontificate” a bit in his engaging style, be among the first to purchase the new anniversary stamp, and stay to watch talented performers as they continue rehearsing for the “Time Travel Weekends” program that starts the following weekend. It’s all in a day’s play in Old Sacramento--don’t miss the fun watching history in the making!
