31st Annual March for the Dream: Sacramento City College

MLK365 invites you to join for the 31st Annual March for the Dream. 20,000 Northern Californians from diverse backgrounds and interests will peacefully come together to march, celebrate, and to recommit themselves to the universal values of freedom, social justice, and equality for all. March, celebrate, donate. Keep the dream alive!

This is one march with three different starting points. If you're committed to the cause and need that extra hour of sleep, then you want to begin at Sacramento City College. The City College jump-off has the best available parking, and you can even take the light rail to the City College march. Marching bands, politicians, schools, and civic/social groups tend to begin here. All banner organizations (groups who register to march) are encouraged to go out and buy a banner to identify their groups.

Following the march, marchers convene at the Sacramento Convention Center. Regional Transit (RT) will be providing free bus rides and passes back to the original march locations for patrons to pick up their cars. Alternative start locations include Oak Park Community Center and Grant High School.
