Brecht's classic play follows the Italian astronomer's trials as he is persecuted by the Catholic church for substantiating that the earth travels around the sun and publishing his discoveries in common Latin for all to read. Come and watch as Galileo struggles with his desire to educate the people with his scientific discovery and the natural instinct of self preservation.
