Sacramento Old City Association (SOCA) is an all volunteer organization whose members devote their time to increasing public awareness of the historic and cultural resources of the city and to advocating policies that ensure a quality urban environment that is respectful of Sacramento's historic buildings and traditional neighborhoods.

      I personally found this year's home showings to be far less interesting than last year's homes. Last year was my first tour and the vintage homes and their pride of ownership and the remodeling and furnishings were authentic and impressive. The SOCA volunteers seemed much more upbeat last year as well. I will view the photos for next year's Old Home showings on the SOCA gallery website before making an informed decision on whether I'll attend. All in all the vintage displays were ok and the tour enjoyable. Collapse
