Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau

The Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau (SCVB) is a non-profit economic development agency that is responsible for promoting the Sacramento region as convention/meeting, group travel, leisure travel, and film production destination. Through targeted marketing programs, the SCVB works on behalf of stakeholders and partners to bring over 15 million visitors to Sacramento County each year. The impact of these efforts is felt every day from conventions and events that draw thousands to individual families looking for affordable weekend getaways.

	Tell-a-friend Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission The Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission, established in 1977, is a public agency devoted to supporting, promoting, and advancing the arts in the region. Funded by the City and County, the Arts Commission provides funding to local artists and arts groups; promotes the arts through marketing, outreach, and education initiatives; provides resources to support and increase regional arts education activities; and serves as a community partner and resource.
	Tell-a-friend SARTA (Sacramento Area Regional Theatre Alliance) The Sacramento Area Regional Theatre Alliance (SARTA) is an alliance of producing organizations, individual theatre artists and technicians, and administrators formed to foster and promote high quality theatre in the Sacramento area and neighboring regions. Its purpose is: to provide services for their mutual benefit; to develop and facilitate effective communication within the Alliance and between Alliance members and the community; to serve as a resource center which offers and provides technical support, information, and resource sharing for any and all community members.
	Tell-a-friend Sacramento Convention Center Complex Located in the heart of downtown, the Sacramento Convention Center Complex encompasses the Sacramento Convention Center, with 134,000 square feet of contiguous exhibit space, 31 meeting rooms, an outdoor garden terrace adjacent to an elegant 24,000-square-foot ballroom, and two separate 10,000-square-foot registration/pre-function areas. The complex also includes the 2,452 seat Community Center Theater, 3800-seat Memorial Auditorium, and the 272-seat Jean Runyon Little Theater.
	Tell-a-friend Sacramento Press The Sacramento Press is a strictly online newspaper written primarily by volunteer Community Contributors. Sacramento Press combined the best tools on the web and built an outstanding platform from scratch. This platform enables people to tell stories about their neighborhoods and have thoughtful conversations about these stories. Then editors place the best content on the front page and section pages to highlight great work. The Arts & Business Council of Sacramento (A&BC) works to ensure the arts remain vibrant by connecting the business and arts communities through a variety of programs designed to capitalize on our clients’ assets, strengthen their areas of challenge, and build management capacity.
