Aerospace Museum of California

Ground control has cleared you for landing at the Aerospace Museum of California. On the former McClellan Air Force Base, the museum features dozens of meticulously restored military and civilian aircraft, NASA-supported exhibits, state-of-the-art Aerospace Learning Center, flight simulator, and gift shop. The museum is also a frequent stop for popular national traveling exhibits.

Formerly known as McClellan Aviation Museum, the Aerospace Museum of California is Sacramento's best-kept secret, with over 30 military and civilian aircraft and state-of-the-art Aviation Learning Center. Be sure to visit the gift shop which features aviation themed items.

      Story Time Aerospace Museum of California Story Time Presented by Aerospace Museum of California at Aerospace Museum of California March 23-June 29, 2012 Please join the Aerospace Museum of California on Friday mornings for Story Time. Designed for children five years old and younger, Story Time will occur every Friday and will focus on space-related or aviation-centric age appropriate books. Once the story is completed, the children will take a tour of the accompanying exhibit in the Museum. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Admission to the Museum is free for children five and under, however adult admission is required.

The inaugural event will be an afternoon and evening of racing, fast cars, gourmet food, and a special performance by David Garibaldi, “Rhythm & Hue,” followed by a live auction--all in the name of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education and kids.
