This fun-filled day kicks off with Dinger (the River Cat’s Mascot!) and live music greeting participants at the main gates of the field! Walkers and fundraisers will be treated to a Kid’s Fun Zone that includes whiffle ball, water toys, face painting, and games, as well as food, a DJ, and an interactive vendor area. The opening ceremonies begin at and will include speakers updating the crowds on our progress toward a cure, legislative actions, and passionate stories from those who are living with ALS. The official ribbon cutting will take place at noon, and walkers will have two routes to choose from: a one-mile or two-mile. Both routes will have access to the outfield of Raley Field where the tribute to the ALS community will be streaming from the Jumbo Tron!
Your participation has a direct impact on people living with ALS and their families at the local level. Through education, support groups, access to care, and advocacy, the ALS Association is working to defeat ALS and provide hope to people living with ALS and their families.

I initially did improve speech (articulating clearly but slow) but now I can no longer speak in an acceptable way. Then, a year later eating became problematic, I was biting my tongue and lips, and chewing became weak and less controlled. Soon after that some fingers started to fail me and things would drop out of my hands. Somewhere at that time bulbar ALS was diagnosed. The Rilutek (riluzole) did very little to help me. The medical team did even less. My decline was rapid and devastating.. We tried every shot available but nothing was working. There has been little if any progress in finding a reliable treatment, Our care provider introduced us to Kycuyu Health Clinic ALS/MND herbal treatment. The treatment is a miracle.i recovered significantly!
