2nd Saturday Art Reception: Home for Summer

ARTHOUSE on R is proud to present Home for Summer, featuring the ceramic sculptures and paintings by Sacramento-region artist, Cindy Wilson.

The whimsical and distinctive artwork of Home for Summer help us remember light, happy moments and experiences of summer from younger years through adulthood. Large ceramic beach balls, figures donning swim suits, flippers and goggles bring levity to day-to-day lives. Beautifully designed canvases give glimpses into the warm days and relaxing pleasures of the summer. These are relatable moments, from all seasons of our lives. Wilson depicts them all through the mediums of clay and paint.

In addition to the Gallery Show, ARTHOUSE resident artists will open their studios to the public for 2nd Saturday.
