Annual Kwanzaa Celebration: Kujichagulia or Self-Determination

This Kwanzaa Celebration is a potluck style party. There will also be a clothing drive. Community members are asked to bring new, unworn caps, warm scarves, and gloves for infants, children, women, and men. These donations will be distributed to local homeless shelters on MLK Day of Service.

Note: The 2015 co-sponsors are Black United Fund of Sacramento Valley (BUFSV), Brickhouse Art Gallery (BAG), and Sacramento Area Black Caucus (SABC).
