Reading Partners Benefit Stand-up Show

Sacramento Comedy Foundation presents a comedy show to benefit Reading Partners Sacramento! Stay tuned for the performer lineup.

Since 2009, Reading Partners Sacramento has engaged community volunteers to provide students with the proven, individualized reading support they need to read at grade level by fourth grade. Research shows that students who read at grade level by fourth grade have a greater opportunity to succeed in school and in life. They believe that reading transforms lives and empowers children to reach their full potential.

This year, they are partnering with eight under-resourced schools and will engage 480 volunteer reading partners to work one-on-one with 400 students who struggle with reading.
